PC Podcast #152018-04-20T12:48:54+00:00

More tracks that got away…

In order to protect the artists, and myself, the music I play is "podsafe" which means that the artist has agreed I should play their tunes for free, and I don’t have to pay royalties at any time. I always ask permission first. Sometimes artists (or their management) never respond to my requests.
I usually keep trying but some great tracks eventually fall through the cracks and I can’t play them. So if you’re
in a mood to do the "old fashioned" download method then check these out…..

Enjoy

Pete

PC Podcast #13 – Sheffield Showcase

One of the great things about the 2005/2006 music scene has been the rise of the Sheffield bands. The Arctic Monkeys have obviously been very successful, but there are lot of other unsigned bands up there and on this show we’re going to play homage to a few of them.

PCP#12 – New Psychadelia Showcase

PC Podcast 12 – The New Pyschadelia revoution (part 1).

This "showcase" podcast focuses on the music of the "third psychalielica revolution". If you’ve listened to this podcast before you’ll have heard tracks from the Bavarian Druglords, but they, and many other bands are now brought together on a new compilation by Northern Star Records. Proceeds from the compilation will be used to fund great new EPs and launch the careers of some great new bands, so if you like what you hear, then pop over to the Northern Star website and pickup a copy and keep the music flowing (I have!).
