New Host for The Dub Zone

I’ve started moving The Dub Zone over from BTPodshow to Libsyn. I hope none of you listeners will notice anything change. You should still be able to download the files directly from this website, the RSS feed, or play shows using the player on the right hand side.

If you do have any problems then please drop me an email at [email protected]. I don’t want you missing any of the great tracks!

Coglosaurus Brittannicus…

One of my regular listeners, Jan., from Amsterdam, rather enjoys creating artwork and often sends me amusing images. This is the latest, which he emailed me with the comments:-

A couple of million years time, when future paleontologists dig you up, they will be in for a surprise. What a groovy set of bones!

Now I am reliably informed by my kids that "groovy" is no-longer a "hip" word. In fact, neither is "hip", "wicked" or "Daddy-O" (apparently), so what does that make Jan?

Keep sending in the piccies dude – loving it!   Anyone else want to join in the fun, drop me a line at [email protected]

Getting ready to escape….

Really starting to get excited about this year’s Great Escape Festival, after we had such a good time last year.  Let’s hope the weather holds out as well. Here’s some of the possible acts we’d love to see…..

There’s even the possibility of Little Man Tate!

Big In Japan…?

Just spotted this as an incoming link from birdtune.jp, the label that has Kukudodo and Gumi on it.  I’ve no idea what it says, but it’s always fun to find that someone has blogged something about you, when you least expected it.

I’m raising money for a Children’s Cancer Charity.

Between Friday 27th and 29th September a bunch of us will be Swooving for 40 hours for 40 different charities.

I shall be Swooving for 10 hours and my chosen charity is Chestnut Tree House, which provides care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions, and their families.

To Swoove means to Sing, Whoop and Move. It’s a great physical and mental excercise and keeps me sane in an otherwise insane world.

If you have heard my podcasts, and have a couple of pounds, dollars, euros, or any other currency spare then please consider donating HERE to the cause. The last time I asked for sponorship was back in 2013, so I don’t ask everyday.

THANK YOU!
