The feeds are alive… with the sound of music…

Feedburner + Google = FAIL

Although Feedburner + Google = FAIL, I do have to say that adding a catalyst to the equation gives Feedburner + Google + Whinge = SUCCESS.

A big thanks to the Google support staff (specifically Matt S) who seems to have fixed my Dub Zone feed problem. Sadly it seems they are inundated with similar (no, in fact, the same) problem from loads of other bloggers and podcasters. So, if you’re in this boat, remember to whinge….LOUDLY!

Feedburner + Google = FAIL!

Feedburner + Google = FAIL

Once again, I’m really p*ssed off with the way in which Google have broken Feedburner. Currently the main feed for The Dub Zone is missing without leave! It’s all down to the way in which Google, the new owner of Feedburner, have insisted in changing the way the feeds operate.

Today I tried to create a new feed for The Dub Step Zone, and it got really confused with the old one, so I deleted them both and tried to start again (I’ve done this before).

This time, it seems the old feed is somehow reserved. I can’t access it, and I can’t recreate it, so if you want some new Dub Zone content then I recommend you use the following feed until someone from the Google "self help" group helps me out.

Now what happened to real people with real support? Grrrrrr!

He’s done it again! DJ Codger has done a remix of another Lily Allen track."22 (Angel Dust Hard House Mix)" can be streamed from here. Have a listen and tell me what you think.

I don’t think it’s quite as good as the "Everyone’s At It (Angel Dust Disco Mix)" but have a listen and vote on the site if you like either of them!

Lily Allen Angel Dust Disco Remix

Lily Allen needs to rest after listening to the latst Angel Dust remix...!

Some people hate her, but I love her music. Lily Allen’s new album "It’s Not Me, It’s You" may be a UK chart topper, but I still went out and bought it, and it’s teriffic (but not one to have on the boombox when you have small children around!).

Anyway, album buyers can download "track stems" so they can do their own remix of all the album tracks. I’ve always wanted, but never had the time, to do one of these before, but this week, I’ve given it a go!

You can find "Everyone’s At It (Angel Dust Disco Mix)" here. Have a listen and tell me what you think. I can’t play it on the podcast, but if you like it, vote for it and who knows what might happen. Better still, have a go yourself!
