Goodbye to an old friend… and hello to a new one!

My old video iPod, the one that inspired me to take up Podcasting, died the other day. It somehow managed to get overheated and was literally cooked whilst I charged it on the way home in the car!  It was a sad day.

Nevertheless, and undeterred, I have purchased a new iPod Touch, which I’m just starting to get used to.  It’s gorgeous!

As my mother used to say… “as one door closes, another one opens”

Made In Brighton…

Made In Brighton
Made In Brighton

Bit of an additional special this week. Every year Codger and Grumbler attend The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. This year there was a Made In Brighton stand in the convention centre, celebrating Brighton bands. We met up with a Nick and Rob on the stand and here’s the result…

Bands from TGE 2010

Thought I’d better document which bands we saw at The Great Escape. More for my own terrible memory than anything else. Lookout for tracks in podcasts soon….

What’s wrong with this picture?

What’s wrong with this picture?  It’s too blue, that’s what’s wrong with it.  OK, labour have been shite since they took us into that phoney war in Iraq, but really, do we want the tories back in? Remember the devil incarnate, Margaret Thatcher? Look again…

I’m raising money for a Children’s Cancer Charity.

Between Friday 27th and 29th September a bunch of us will be Swooving for 40 hours for 40 different charities.

I shall be Swooving for 10 hours and my chosen charity is Chestnut Tree House, which provides care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions, and their families.

To Swoove means to Sing, Whoop and Move. It’s a great physical and mental excercise and keeps me sane in an otherwise insane world.

If you have heard my podcasts, and have a couple of pounds, dollars, euros, or any other currency spare then please consider donating HERE to the cause. The last time I asked for sponorship was back in 2013, so I don’t ask everyday.

THANK YOU!
