PC Podcast #13 – Sheffield Showcase

One of the great things about the 2005/2006 music scene has been the rise of the Sheffield bands. The Arctic Monkeys have obviously been very successful, but there are lot of other unsigned bands up there and on this show we’re going to play homage to a few of them.

The band will be supporting the Arctic Monkeys on their European Tour, followed by their own headlining tour in May

  Bandits, by The Reverend and the Makers

The Reverend will be playing the Barfly in Birmingham on April 8th and then will be supporting the Arctic Monkeys on their UK Tour.

  Climbing Up The Ladder, by The Field

The Band will be playing the Boardwalk in Sheffield on April 8th and then alternate between The Boardwalk and Bar Matrix during late April and May.

  Hello Miss Lovely (So You Like My Jeans?), by Little Man Tate

The Band will be playing Liverpool University Academy on April 25th, and then play Dublin, Stockton-on-Tees, Sheffield, Glasgow etc…

  Interview with (L-R) James, Ben, Dan, Rob, Matt and Dave from The Wanted, followed by "Disco Girl"

The Band will be playing The Prinrose in Leeds on April 12th, and then back to the Boardwalk in Sheffield on April 24th, supporting My Achitects. Then a couple of dates in manchester and Leicester in May and June.

  Take It All, by The Haze

Gigs yet to be planed, but they do aim to be at the Snooty Fox in Wakefield sometime in April.

  Until You Leave, by Stoney

Stoney will be playing on the 24th April at Manchester Academy with Feeder. The gig is sponsored by XFM.

  Tinpigs, by Little Ze

No gigs sheduled at present

  Lions on the Prowl, by Bromhead’s Jacket

The Band will be playing the Boardwalk in Sheffield on April 10th and then on to Liverpool, Manchster, Sunderland, Hartlepool etc…
